A picturesque circuit to the historic and beautiful village of Montesquiou via the lovely Castelnau D’Angles. You can stop in Montesquiou for coffee or lunch and a walk. The village lies on the GR653 that eventually takes walkers and cyclists to Toulouse and beyond (E-Velo Gers have cycled some of this route). On leaving Montesquiou you have the added enjoyment of an Escargot farm (Les Escargots de Malicorne) and possible degustation when in season. Returning to e-Velo Gers you pass Lac de Saint Laurent with the possibility of a pic nic and walk. The circuit totals 510m ascent and 47k  in total, with potential for more if you divert into Bassouses before the Lac.
